Content Policy

Every pixel shows a color, a display name, a tagline of up to 40 characters, and sometimes a link. Grudges are welcome. Harm isn't. This policy is part of the Terms of Sale.

Not allowed

Names, taglines and links that are:

• hateful or harassing, including slurs and attacks on people for who they are
• threats, or content that encourages violence or self-harm
• sexually explicit, or links to adult content
• about a private person by name, or that share someone's personal information
• illegal, or links to illegal goods or services
• scams, phishing, malware, or links that pretend to be someone else
• someone else's copyright or trademark used without permission
• political or issue ads

Trash talk about who holds the center is fine. Trash talk about a real person's identity isn't.

Links

Links stay hidden until we review them. Approved links are marked Sponsored and carry rel="sponsored nofollow". We can decline a link without giving a reason; the pixel stays yours.

What we do

We can hide a tagline, a link, or both, at any time. The color stays and the pixel stays yours until someone buys it. Content removed for breaking this policy isn't refunded (see Refunds). If a buyer keeps breaking this policy, we may hide their taglines and links on sight.

Report something

Email hello@pixelgrudge.com with the subject Report pixel, the pixel's coordinates (shown when you click it, for example (500, 500)), and what's wrong. We review reports within 2 business days, and sooner for threats or illegal content.

Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on PixelGrudge infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with:

• your physical or electronic signature
• the copyrighted work you say is infringed
• the pixel coordinates of the material
• your name, address, phone number and email
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. We may share notices with the person who posted the content. We remove repeat infringers.
